Hanging out in the morning with some cartoons and cereal.
This is our little baby. It's his last day of being a baby because it would be his birthday the next day. The cereal starts off on a tray all nice and sanitary and then...
it ends up all over the floors.
For some strange reason they like to put stickers all over their faces and clothes. Clothes I under stand, but faces???
Noah on his birthday! One year ago today this guy came into out lives so beautiful and perfect. I can't believe he is now a toddler - soon to be walking, running, talking and ganging up on us with all his brothers! It's true what they say about kids growing up too quickly- the year just seemed to have flown by (*sniff**sniff*)
We started our little party for Noah with some video games. For Noah's first birthday we threw our traditional large party out the window and opted for a party with just the six of us. I really loved the idea of actually spending time with the kids and not having to worry about all the little details!
I even had time to make a birthday cake!
We made our own french bread pizzas for dinner.
There seemed to be some thought about the placement of things for Logan.
Lincoln liked his to be little areas of different pizzas.
Nathan just wanted to eat, he didn't care that it wasn't baked yet.
Happy Birthday Noah!
It is so difficult trying to get a great shot of all the kids. Proof that we tried a couple of times :)
A couple of days later - on Monday, Logan lost his first tooth! It was loose for a few days and then finally when he was brushing his teeth before bedtime it fell out in a rinse.
I was so sad that it might have gotten washed away but my Knight in Shining Armor came to the rescue and opened up the drain and fished it out.
It was very small, like a grain of rice. Logan put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy and he spent his money the next morning on a video came - not surprising at all.
Now the week is winding down. The weather's been great. They've been in shorts and flip flops and had a chance to play at the park a couple of time. We only have one more weekend to enjoy this time and then it'll be back to crazy hurried mornings and long hours without them.
